Mind The Gap Theatre is now accepting short plays from native UK playwrights for our continuing BRITBITS series of shorts in New York City.

Native British, Scottish, Irish and Welsh writers may submit plays from 1-20 pages for consideration for our 7th BritBits series running  this June. Scripts will be accepted through April 20th . Writers can submit more than one piece for consideration. 

Scripts should be sent as a pdf or word  file to allaboard@mindthegaptheatre.com and include a brief writer’s bio. Please  let us know where you heard about this call for submissions as well.

After meeting with the Scottish Book Trust the SSP would like to tell members about the Live Literature Scotland initiative. Take a look here and see if you are eligible to apply. We've also put a link on our 'Links' page. 

The new website is up and running. If members feel there is anything that would improve the site please get in touch and let us know.

on 11th August the new council met at the CCA. The new council is now posted on this website and seems to be a good mixture of experience and new voices to take the SSP forward this year. Is this news? I guess it is now.

We've had to migrate the website and along the way incorporated a new look. Hopefully all will run smooth. Let us know if there are any problems.
